Gap Fill – The Self-Learning Program
In Sri Lanka, many individuals have stopped learning due to negative past experiences, self-doubt, or a lack of relevance in traditional education. This has created gaps in essential modern literacy skills—digital, financial, media, and legal knowledge—leaving them at a disadvantage in today’s fast-evolving world.
Gap Fill is an innovative self-learning initiative designed to reignite curiosity and confidence in lifelong learning. Unlike conventional programs, we remove barriers by offering short, engaging, and practical lessons—delivered via WhatsApp, Zoom, and social media—that fit into daily life without pressure. Our approach focuses on:
Through daily "Learning Sparks," social media content, and local "Learning Buddies," we empower learners to take small steps toward big confidence boosts. Within six months, we aim to see 70% of participants exploring new skills independently, with half applying them in daily life.
Join us to bridge the gap—by volunteering, partnering, or spreading the word—and help Sri Lanka rediscover the joy of learning!
Let’s make learning simple, useful, and unstoppable!
